Technip has been awarded by Aker-Kvaerner two contracts, worth approximately €270 million, for the flexible pipelines for an oil field located off the eastern coast of India, at a water depth of 1,400 meters.

The contracts cover:

Technip's operating centers in Paris (France) and Aberdeen (Scotland) will execute these contracts with support from the Group's center in Chennai (India). The flexible pipes will be manufactured by Flexi France, one of the Group's flexible pipe plants located in Le Trait (France).

Offshore installation is scheduled for the first quarter of 2008. The major part of the installation work will be carried out by the Constructor, one of Technip's pipelay and construction vessels.
