Technip has signed a frame contract with Geo ASA for the provision of survey/utility vessel services, which will mainly be provided by the new-build vessel, MV Geoholm. The contract will take effect in June 2006 and will last for three years.

The new 85m vessel is specially designed for survey and light construction operations in harsh environments such as deep waters and the North Sea. She is equipped with a 90T crane, state-of-the-art survey equipment and two new 3,000m rated ROVs.

The MV Geoholm will reinforce Technip capabilities for diverless operations around the world. The vessel will start operations on the Alvheim project in Norway in June 2006.
