News - Press Release

TechnipFMC recently partnered with Argentine oil and gas producer YPF S.A. in setting fracing records at the Vaca Muerta Formation in the Neuquén Basin in northern Patagonia, Argentina.
TechnipFMC and YPF, along with Halliburton, achieved the highest number of frac stages pumped in a 24-hour period in the basin. For its part, Surface Technologies provided frac stacks, frac flowline rental, installation services, flow testing services and frac assist support.
The project at Vaca Muerta reflects our core value of “achieving together,” working closely with our clients to display the technical knowledge and performance of our field technicians and equipment. Together, TechnipFMC and YPF achieved a successful objective that helps optimize the production of unconventional hydrocarbons in Latin America.
TechnipFMC worked at the wellsite for 52 days, completing the project safely and without HSE or service quality issues.
