Electrification isn't all or nothing.

The eHD combines direct-drive electric propulsion with hydraulic tooling capability on the proven Schilling Robotics HD platform. Advance vehicle performance and reliability at depth while maintaining compatibility with the tooling, infrastructure, and operational knowledge already in place.

Electric propulsion & hydraulic tooling. Each where it performs best.

Direct-drive electric propulsion advances flight performance, speed, stability, and control. Dedicated hydraulic circuits maintain the manipulator and tooling compatibility operators depend on. Together, they deliver new vehicle performance without forcing unnecessary change across the wider ROV system.

Direct-drive electric propulsion

Direct-drive electric thrusters deliver responsive flight, efficient power delivery, high bollard pull, and precise station keeping at depth. Greater pitch and roll control supports productive work in higher-current conditions.

Hydraulic tooling capability

Two dedicated hydraulic circuits support manipulators and auxiliary tooling. A 30 lpm circuit powers the manipulators, while a separate circuit provides up to 125 lpm for auxiliary tooling.

Modernize the ROV. Keep the operation moving.

Offshore performance is ultimately measured in productive vessel time. The eHD advances vehicle performance and reliability without introducing unnecessary downtime, complexity, or operational risk.

With 70% component commonality with the HD platform, the eHD maintains compatibility with existing topside systems, tether management systems, launch and recovery systems, tooling, and spares. Operators can gain new performance while preserving familiar infrastructure, workflows, and operational knowledge.

Ehd Hybrid Modernize The ROV Blade Campaign

Built to perform where the work gets demanding.

The eHD delivers the speed, stability, payload capacity, and hydraulic tooling capability required for inspection, maintenance and repair, construction support, and subsea intervention.

Move forward on your fleet's terms.

Whether upgrading a vehicle, adding a complete system, or managing a mixed fleet, operators can introduce eHD capability in step with existing asset life cycles, vessel requirements, and long-term fleet strategies.

ROV-only upgrade

Plug the eHD vehicle into compatible HD infrastructure with minor adjustments to the existing system package—advancing performance without replacing the complete system.

System expansion or replacement

Expand an existing fleet or replace a complete system with the eHD vehicle, new topside equipment, a tether management system, and a launch and recovery system.

Mixed-fleet continuity

Common technology across the HD, UHD-III, and eHD platforms supports consistent workflows, familiar procedures, and lower spares inventory costs across a mixed Schilling Robotics fleet.

Tested against the realities of subsea work.

The eHD has undergone sea-trial testing across flight performance, speed at depth, station keeping, depth, thermal conditions, and pilot handling.

Operational testing included a simulated pipe-tracking run, helping demonstrate how the vehicle responds during representative subsea work.
