TechnipFMC has had a productive presence in Mexico since 1988. We provide an integrated range of offerings across Onshore/Offshore, Subsea and Surface Technologies, including engineering, technologies, products and services.
The country is one of the largest oil producers in the Western Hemisphere and revenues make a major contribution to its export earnings. In November 2017, it announced its biggest onshore finding in15 years in the eastern state of Veracruz
TechnipFMC has a long and successful history in Mexico. We provide our clients with a broad and comprehensive portfolio of products, skills and expertise through the complete life cycle of a project.
Our focus is on early engagement, and our capabilities include conceptual design and Front End Engineering Design (FEED) as well as Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC).
Other services we offer to the sector in Mexico include installation and commissioning, surface wellhead and production systems, subsea life-of-field services and monitoring and project management.
The country’s energy sector has recently been successfully opened up to private investment . We have a strong and valued relationship with the country’s national oil company, PEMEX, which currently remains responsible for nearly all of Mexico’s crude oil production. Our work with the client includes refinery loading arms and a Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) at the Cadereyta refinery.
We have also been involved with the PEMEX CCR plant in the La Cangrejera petrochemical complex, also in Veracruz.
