TechnipFMC delivered 20% of the world LNG capacity through major liquefied natural gas plants including mid-scale, large-scale, onshore, offshore and in remote harsh environment locations.

We are notably world leaders in the design, engineering and construction of floating liquified natural gas (FLNG) plants, having built three of the first FLNG projects in the industry: Shell Prelude, Petronas Satu and ENI Coral South.

TechnipFMC pioneered base-load LNG plant construction through the first-ever facility in Arzew, Algeria and with the first LNG facility in the Yamal peninsula. We have built plants representing 91 Mtpa production capacity since 2000 and have 8 Mtpa under construction through projects like Yamal LNG in Russia, LNG trains in Qatar, Yemen LNG, multiple mid-scale LNG plants in China and others.

We are one of the few experienced contractors capable of managing mega-size projects and delivering large GTL facilities. We offer Sasol’s slurry phase distillate technology and have provided front-end engineering design for the Fischer Tropsch section of more than 60 percent of the commercial Coal to Liquids (CTL) and GTL capacity worldwide.

For more than four decades, the development and inclusion of cryogenic NGL recovery processes in large gas treatment plants has been one of TechnipFMC’s hallmarks. Our process designs provide energy-efficient and cost-optimized solutions for a wide range of gas processing requirements.

We have delivered more than 100 gas processing and sulfur recovery plants, more than 50 plants for the removal of carbon dioxide and sulfur components from natural gas using chemical or physical solvents, more than 10 large capacity gas treatment complexes and the world’s largest sulfur recovery complex.
