TechnipFMC was founded in 2017 with the belief that we could drive sustainable value for our clients by working together, in close collaboration, to optimize the subsea scope. Now, we lead the industry in integrated projects, as the first and only subsea partner to design, build, install, and service vertically integrated systems from the wellhead to the platform, utilizing our owned fleet of vessels.

Subsea 2.0™ CTO
Now, we are expanding our all-electric offerings, or eSolutions, to address the current challenges of the market.
We are partnering with clients as part of a joint industry program (JIP) to develop an all-electric subsea tree. Leveraging our field-proven electric actuators and connected to the host through an electric umbilical, this solution will fully eliminate hydraulics from the field and reduce equipment footprint to minimize environmental impact.
We are also supporting our clients’ energy transition ambitions by pursuing the electrification of subsea fields. This approach, which calls for all-electric products and systems, will provide significant reductions in total cost of ownership, lead time, and emissions throughout the life of the field. It will also enable longer tiebacks to unlock fields that may not otherwise be deemed economical.
Electrification is not a new area of focus for us; we introduced our first electric actuator 20 years ago. Since then, it has been used in hundreds of applications around the world.

We've digitalized 50 years of experience to optimize the execution of subsea field developments.
We believe one of the safest and most efficient storage locations is offshore, where the carbon can be maintained in naturally occurring reservoirs. To get it there safely, reliably and efficiently, we will offer a fully integrated carbon transportation and storage system. Our scope will begin at the central gathering station, where the CO2 will be compressed and monitored throughout
the process and will end at the injection well.
The capture of greenhouse gasses industry is maturing, but two important questions remain: Where are we going to store it? To get there, we will leverage our subsea and surface expertise and continue collaborating with energy companies and technology providers to bring to market innovative solutions that are best-suited for CO2 transportation and storage applications.
Large amount of greenhouse gas will be captured. But where are we going to store it? And how will we get it there? We believe one of the safest and most efficient storage locations is offshore.
CO2 Transportation & Storage
Market projections makes floating wind a natural opportunity for our company. First, the skills needed to develop these large infrastructure projects are closely aligned to our track record in subsea. Second, we are exploring new technologies that could benefit from our standardization mindset to bring scalability. And third, we are leveraging our extensive experience in project integration - perhaps our strongest point of differentiation. We see strong integration potential across offshore renewable markets. For example, by combining wind and wave, or wind and hydrogen (as in Deep Purple TM), we could maximize energy generation and efficiency.
Ocean wind as an energy source has become well established over the last decade and is now the lowest cost energy source in some countries. This industry is built on bottom-fixed wind turbines that are typically installed in shallow waters and close to shore. We are focused on floating wind applications. We contributed to one of the two first floating wind projects ever; Equinor’s Hywind project in Scotland, and are partner in one of the new Scotwind offshore floating wind licenses.

Deep Purple™ is our first step into the future of offshore energy. It is an ambitious solution for integrating renewable energy with hydrogen to form a complete, zero-emission offshore energy system. It can be configured to a specific energy demand and application, and includes power generation, seawater treatment, electrolysis, hydrogen storage and re-electrification.
Hydrogen will without doubt play a very important role in bringing reliability, stability, and efficiency to renewable sources. In simple terms, green hydrogen is produced through the electrolysis of water powered by renewable energy. It can be used for the decarbonization of heavy industry, domestic heating, the transportation sector, or converted to other zero-emission fuels.
We believe hydrogen will become a crucial energy carrier for the storage and transportation of energy.

Oil and gas remains an important part of the energy supply mix, and we will continue to develop technologies to reduce emissions.
