A pioneering technology company with more than 25 years in Canada
A part of Canada’s history, caring for the future

Awarded as an EPCI contract, it included engineering, fabrication and installation of 23.7 kilometers of flexible flowlines and 5.4 kilometers of umbilicals, the installation of manifolds and associated pipework. Our vessels performed the installation in 2009.

In 2020, TechnipFMC’s vessel Deep Explorer was commissioned to perform life-extension operations which included upgrading the field’s mooring system, extending the life of a spider buoy, replacing a water-injection riser, and remediation work on a gas-injection jumper.

The Husky West White Rose Project uses a fixed platform tie back which connect the West White Rose Platform to the existing Sea Rose FPSO vessel.
White Rose is the second harsh environment development in North America to use an FPSO.
TechnipFMC successfully completed the subsea production system contract for the White Rose field development in 2005.

TechnipFMC supplied subsea injection trees and wellheads, manifold, and associated control systems. Deliveries commenced in 2013. The project represents a long-standing collaborative relationship with ExxonMobil and the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador.
In November 2022, Hibernia celebrated 25 years since “first oil” and has the potential to continue production for another 20 years.

Terra Nova field is in the Jeanne d’Arc Basin. TechnipFMC supplied the subsea architecture that consists of production wells feeding into manifolds, which are connected by flexible flowlines to a riser base, and then to the FPSO via a riser system. The wells are located in dredged out trenches to protect them from the impact of icebergs that occasionally scour the area.
At the time of contract award, 1998, it was the world’s first major project in iceberg-infested waters.

With experience from some of Canada’s first subsea projects we continued to support the region’s developments. Here you can see some of the recent projects we have been involved in over the years.
Med erfaring fra noen av Norges største prosjekter er vi alltid klar for nye. Her ser du noen av prosjektene vi har vært involvert i de siste årene.
